Noodle One Halal Restaurant — home

Our story

A Lanzhou noodle shop on Preston Road

Noodle One opened in Frisco in October 2025 to serve the bowl that northwest China eats every day: beef noodle soup with noodles pulled by hand, to order.

In Lanzhou, beef noodle soup grew out of the city’s Hui Muslim community, and it has been a halal dish for more than a century. We cook in that tradition. There is no separate halal menu here, because everything on the menu is halal.

Around the soup we serve the food that belongs next to it: dumplings and xiao long bao, cumin lamb and beef, Xinjiang-style big plate chicken, home-style vegetables and milk tea.

The five standards of a Lanzhou bowl

Cooks in Lanzhou judge a bowl by five colors. It is the bar we hold every bowl to.

  1. 01Clear

    A clear, long-simmered beef broth.

  2. 02White

    Thin slices of white radish.

  3. 03Red

    House chili oil on top.

  4. 04Green

    Fresh cilantro and garlic shoots.

  5. 05Yellow

Hand-pulled noodles with a golden hue.

Our halal commitment
