We had never tried Lanzhou-style noodle soup before, but we walked by and it looked so good that we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was clean, the staff seated us quickly, and we were given menus and water right away. We ordered their signature beef noodle soup, and it was incredible. The broth was rich and flavorful, the handmade noodles had the perfect texture, and the beef was tender and delicious. It was one of the most comforting, balanced soups I’ve ever had. We left already planning to come back and try more of their dishes. Highly recommend!
This is a halal restaurant and the owners are from Lanzhou, capital of the Gansu province in China. They specialize in hand made noodles, lamb, and beef dishes. Thus far we have had the signature beef noodle soup, cumin beef noodles, chicken and corn dumplings, sesame chicken, and hand torn lamb pieces. Everything has been excellent, and the service is very friendly, in a clean pleasant atmosphere. We wish this new Lanzhou Chinese halal restaurant great success and will visit often!
Everything was so delicious that we forgot to take photos until we had already eaten half of the dishes. Top recommendations: the lamb chops and lamb ribs. The meat is incredibly tender. The seasoning on the chops is amazing, and the ribs have the pure, authentic flavor of lamb. The signature beef noodle soup has the most authentic taste and texture I’ve had. The lamb skewers are perfectly marinated. All the other dishes like dumplings, fried rice, fried rice noodles, and smashed cucumber were also better than what we’ve had at other restaurants.
